Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 1, 2026
Unitity AI ("Unitity AI," "we," "us," or "our") provides an AI-powered staffing and workforce intelligence platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to write this in plain language — if anything is unclear, reach out at privacy@unitityai.com.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly and information generated as you use the platform:
- Contact details — name, email address, phone number.
- Resume & application data — resumes, work history, skills, and answers to screening questions submitted through job applications.
- Recruiting activity — pipeline stage, notes, interview schedules, and communications between recruiters, candidates, and hiring clients.
- Account & usage data — login timestamps, IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and product improvement.
2. How We Use It
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate the core platform — matching candidates to requisitions, scheduling interviews, and tracking pipeline progress.
- Power AI features such as candidate screening summaries, interview question generation, and fill-time predictions.
- Send transactional communications — application confirmations, interview reminders, and status updates via email and SMS.
- Maintain security, detect abuse, and enforce rate limits on sensitive actions.
- Improve the product based on aggregated, de-identified usage trends.
4. Data Retention
We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the platform. If you request deletion of your personal data, we will delete it within 30 days, except where we're legally required to retain certain records for longer (e.g., billing records).
5. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights over your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@unitityai.com. We'll respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
6. Security Measures
We store data in Neon Postgres (US-East), encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production data is role-restricted, and sensitive endpoints are rate-limited and authenticated. For a full breakdown of our security practices, see our Security page.
